...was nearly born in the front seat of an old, red, Dodge pickup called "The Bull of the Woods" on one of the coldest April mornings any Virginian old timer could remember. If you think I'm making that up, you give me much more credit than I'm worth. I'm the poster child for Aires, which gives me the same fiery personality that I lend to all my female protagonists. I write what I love, which is a healthy blend of science and fantasy (becasue what is fantasy but science we don' t have the knowledge to understand yet) with some romance thrown in because I'm a sucker like that. I'm a Tar Heel born and bred and use my exspensive Geology degree to help me develop worlds that are as realistic as I can possibly imagine them. I have three kids, two cats, and one dog, but only one of them is a boy. To say my husband is outnumbered is a sadistic understatement.  If you want to talk about geology, quantum physics, or just the newest Marvel film, send me an email. I'm an introverted extrovert, which means I love to talk to people as long as I can hide behind my computer to do it!
